  • 3-wickets haul from both Sunil Narine and Kemar Roach helped West Indies 2-wickets victory over Pakistan despite an excellent knock from Misbah-ul-Haq in the 1st match of ICC Champions Trophy.
  • Pakistan scored 170 runs all out in 48 overs with a top score of 96 runs not out off 127 balls including 5-fours and 3 sixes with a strike rate of 75.59 from Misbah-ul-Haq.
  • Nasir Jamshed added 50 runs off 93 balls including 5-fours, Wahab Riaz 6 runs, and Mohammad Hafeez 4.
  • West Indies bowler Sunil Narine and Kemar Roach both claimed 3-wickets in 10 overs and each one wicket by Ravi Rampaul and Dwayne Bravo.
  • West Indies chased 172 runs for 8 wickets in 40.4 overs with a top score of 39 runs off 47 balls including 4-fours and a six from opener Chris Gayle.
  • Marlon Samuels and Kieron Pollard both added 30 runs each off 57 balls and 58 balls respectively, Denesh Ramdin and Sunil Narine both scored 11 runs each.
  • Mohammad Irfan took 3 wickets for 32 runs in 9 overs, Saeed Ajmal and Wahab Riaz both took 2 wickets each in 10 overs, and Mohammad Hafeez 1.
  • Kemar Roach named Man of the Match for his excellent bowling performance of 28 runs in 10 overs for 3-wickets including 4 maiden overs with an economy rate of 2.80
