West Indies vs Pakistan 1st Test 2021

West Indies defeated Pakistan by one wicket and took a 1-0 lead in the first Test match, with to Kraigg Brathwaite's 97 and Jayden Seales' maiden five-for. Jermaine Blackwood's half-century and No.9 batsman Kemar Roach's steering.

Jayden Seales and Jason Holder each took three wickets to restrict Pakistan to 217 runs before Mohammad Abbas' double-wicket maiden put the West Indies on the back foot on the first day of the first Test match.

West Indies took a 34-run lead on day 2 of the first Test match, with to Kraigg Brathwaite's 97 and Jason Holder's half-century.

After blows from Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales on day three of the first Test match, Babar Azam's unbroken half-century kept the contest in the balance.

Fawad Alam top scored with 56, Faheem Ashraf 44, Babar Azam 30, Mohammad Rizwan 23, and Azhar Ali 17 for Pakistan in their first innings.

1st Innings vs. 1st Innings vs Jason Holder, the top bowler for the West Indies, grabbed 3-wickets for 26 runs in 15.3 overs, including three maidens. Jayden Seales took 3-wickets, Kemar Roach took 2-wickets, and Kyle Mayers collected one wicket.

West Indies 2nd Innings totalled 253 for all-out in 89.4 overs, with Kraigg Brathwaite leading the way with 97 off 221 balls, including 12 fours, Jason Holder 58, Jermaine Blackwood 22, Roston Chase 21, and Joshua da Silva 20 not out.













Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan's finest bowler, took 4-wickets for 59 runs in 21.4 overs, Mohammad Abbas took 3-wickets, and Faheem Ashraf - Hasan Ali took one wicket in 1st Innings.

Babar Azam (55), Abid Ali (34), Mohammad Rizwan (30), Hasan Ali (28), and Azhar Ali (23) led Pakistan's 2nd Innings to a total of 203 for all-out in 83.4 overs.

In the second inning Kemar Roach, the top bowler for the West Indies, grabbed 2-wickets for 15 runs in 15 overs, including seven maidens, while Jayden Seales took 2-wickets and Jason Holder took one.

In the second inning Jayden Seales, West Indies' best bowler, got a career-high 5-wicket haul for 55 runs in 15.4 overs, including three maidens, while Kemar Roach took 3-wickets for 30-runs in 19 overs, including eight maidens, and Kyle Mayers and Jason Holder each took one wicket.

Jermaine Blackwood top scored with 55, Kemar Roach 30 not out, Roston Chase 22 and Jason Holder 16 as West Indies chased down 168-9 in 56.5 overs.

In the second inning Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan's finest bowler, got 4-wickets for 50 runs in 17 overs, including four maidens, Hasan Ali took 3-wickets, and Faheem Ashraf took 2-wickets.

Jayden Seales awarded Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling effort in which he claimed 8 wickets.
