Despite a tough knock from opener Pathum Nissanka's 73 - Dasun Shanaka's attack in a nail-biter game of the second T20I, Australia won the Super Over and took a 2-0 lead as Marcus Stoinis retains his nerve as match-tied against Sri Lanka.

Australia scored 164 for 6-wicket down in 20 overs with Josh Inglis top-scored of 48 off 32 balls, falling two runs short of his half-century, including 5-fours with a strike rate of 150, Aaron Finch 25, Marcus Stoinis 19, Ben McDermott 18, and Glenn Maxwell 15.

Sri Lanka's finest bowlers Dushmantha Chameera and Wanindu Hasaranga both got two wickets, one for Maheesh Theekshana - Nuwan Thusara.
